Happy Tales From New Leash On Life - Archie

Archie was adopted to Jen Sepate and John Carter at an adoption fair in 2009. Jen writes, "John, being a former Marine, landed on [the name] Archie after Archibald Henderson the "Grand Ole’ Man" of the Marine Corps. Since Archie seemed to think he commanded our house. He quickly picked up on his name and other basic commands.
He has his favorites; his mommy, his Nyla bone, any toy with a squeaky and GREENIES®. He likes to play in the yard with his Daddy especially fetch which he is still trying to grasp the concept of bringing the toy back. He likes to watch the kids wait for the school bus in the mornings.
The training has been a challenge for Archie given his size he can often over power me, but he is very motivated by treats and we will have to be patient and work with him all winter. He does attend doggy day care several times a month and he visits dog parks for socialization.
We love Archie so much and can’t imagine life without him. John always tells Archie how handsome he is and we find ourselves giving him kisses before each other when we get home from work.
We are so happy with Archie and wish you all luck on finding the other dogs forever homes."
